    What a cruel means of torture! A terrible predicament. It's not good enough - you're going to have to add a telescopic stick for changing channel...

    And an elevated platform accessory on which to place the antenna positioning assistant...

    And a radio controlled fridge on wheels so you don't have to get up to fetch a beer...

    Or better yet, magically summonable flying beer bottles...

    And a piece of string to tie to the front door so you can answer the doorbell without getting up...

    And a single tiny, tiny little hard stool for guests/family to sit on...

    And a gag so they can't ask lots of questions in the exciting bits...

    And a gamepad that controls a robot that performs the actions required to run a Nintendo Wii...

    And a "night mode" with a pillow, a duvet, and an alarm clock so you don't miss any riveting daytime tv...

    And a convenient convenience...
