Almost finished with the spread, I think this is as far as I will go when it comes to details. Going to London with my family next weekend is there someone who has got some suggestions what we shouldn't miss?
the Soanes museum has been on my list for a long time, thanks for the advice both of you I just have to talk my two teenage daughters that's there more to life than shopping
So many great details here! Love that you get a cup of tea in a china cup and sugarlumps, how very civilised! I'd love to see this thing go in reverse but I can't believe it goes to Luton - been there, definitely wouldn't recommend it! And what do you mean, there is more to life than shopping?
Agree with the suggestions above, although the Da Vinci exhibition is meant to be really busy.
Also consider the Wallace Collection a few fabulous paintings, lots of armour and swords and things, and a nice restaurant. There is also good shopping round the corner in Marlybone, and Selfridges is not far on Oxford St.
Let the girls loose on the King's Road for some shopping while you camp out in the top floor cafe of Peter Jones, Sloane Square (http://www.johnlewis.com/Shops/DSShop.aspx?Id=25), which has excellent views across the city.
since you're an architect mattias i wouldn't miss Tate Modern. They do have some good art from famous artists on display, but the building, the volume itself is in my opinion one of the best galleries i've been to.. otherwise John Soanes' house is also one of my faves, been there two months ago.. it will blow your mind, a total spacial horror-vacue, reminds me of your drawings.. or vice-versa :D have a nice time there!!
The Sloane museum is amazing and free! Also there is a magical art supply store that can't be missed: L. Cornelissen & Son (www.cornelissen.com). Enjoy! :)
If you come to London, you absolutely have to visit the John Soane Museum: some spots of that place looks like some of your drawings!

Really hope to catch you by chance next week in the City :)
There's a rare chance to see a large number of Da Vinci paintings at the National Gallery:
