The future, progression
Managed to continue the new Illustration, it's supposed to be in color in the end. It has already impossible to scan it in one go, so next scan I'll have to do two scans.
And thanks all for answering my poll, and as I can figure there is a demand for city's, they are quite demanding so we'll see. New Poll, sorry, my mind was blank, if you got any suggestions for polls or other things please tell me. My blog is turning into a slum area, with all the links and all statistics and all, some day I'll probably have to learn to write Html code, (the horror).

Art class of DOOM
Today I'm going to tell you a story from my days at collage, but first progression of new Illu
Once upon a time I studied Architecture
There I found a lot of imposing rulers
The teachers all had fur, and their convictions had a clear tilt towards the radical.
Some hot chicks.
Here I learned: To drink wine
I got a new set of vocabulary
To over emphasize my lines
That all shadows are not created equal
That the strange gray contraption, was for sharpening your pencils
Pencil after sharpening
But we also was thought something more important, and that we found in the ART CLASS OF DOOM.
In this class we where meant to learn water color painting, our teacher wouldn't exactly levitate but you didn't here her when she came. She was a rather imposing woman both in height and weight. When you where painting she would float by and in a very monotone voice say:
"now you have killed it", (Nu har du dödat den) meaning you had added to muchcolorr, and you could throw it away.
Even today when I paint I hear her mantra, "now you've killed it", ringing in my ears, and making painting almost impossible.

Wien finished, and new Illustration in progress
I'm doing a new illustration this week for an other publication, have to prepare for a lecture I give next Tuesday also so hope I will manage to finish it this week .
Didn't do to much more on the Vienna piece but a sky, it's supposed to be old Franz Josef in the clouds if you wonder. If you want to enlarge the picture there is a small warning it's rather a high resolution.
Grüss gott! und wie sehen um uns.

Saturday today
Stef, has made a little homage to me on his blog, Stef was one of the first Artist blogs I found and his skilled dumb founded me at first, his travel sketches are so wonderful, hopefully he'll publish a book soon. Drank some wine and didn't dare to continue on the Vienna piece, made some in the sketch book instead.
The Duel
There might be a story behind this one, but you have to write it yourself
Jurassic skiing
Just because you're extinct doesn't mean you can't have a good time

Vienna, revisited
Opening night
You can tell it's there first performance because they are awfully un tight.
Vienna progression
Didn't find to much time yesterday to continue on this watched some TV instead, but managed to do some buildings. The black dot on top of the new building is supposed to be a Hapsburg eagle, (they had two heads, like Zaphod Beeblebrox). My mother asked me who the people with wheel barrows where, they are supposed to be Freud carrying patient. This is not for a travel magazine, mind you.
In this Illustration I do not obey the rules of perspective ( doing this gives me severe head aches, my mind wants perspective) . But as I progress perspective sips in, bad brain. In the top right you see the ferris wheel, where Orson Welles had his priceless monologue in the third man, a must see. I whish I had the possibility to re see it before I made this Illustration.

Vienna, work in progress
I'm working on an illustration for a music magazine, the theme being Vienna a city I unfortunately haven't visited. The closest to Vienna I've been is when I saw the third man. Any suggestions of buildings I shouldn't miss are welcome, I've got a lot of space left as you can see.
Please, if you got an urge for change try to use my poll on the left here, and see if there's a change on the blog)
And Jason got a rather interesting post on his blog today, you know how utterly puritan we Swedes are, I blame Luther.

Life of the Piggles
It was a tough decision but I finally chosed Piggles, (thank Felicity) and in Latin Volocer-porcus, (thanks Maura)
And now for a rare insight in the life of the Piggles. It's important for Piggles to feel a strong bond when mating, they choose partners for life.
When waiting pups, the males colors darkens and he gets more aggressive.
The Female feeds the pups for the first two month
The First flying lessons are difficult
But they soon take up their parents great aviation skills
Inspired by the pigs more animals follow suit.
The Duck-Horse
The Flying cow
The Cat and the mouse, putting a thrill on the chase
And the mighty Meagle
The Parrot
But rest assure I won't be pestering you about names on them, have a happy computer free weekend now, and thanks for all the great suggestions of name.
