Today sketching was hard, I felt so tired the weather was awful biking home, I had to take of my glasses half- way home in order to see anything. Not to comfortable with the new pen yet, it do not got the easy flow as my other pen (is this really of interest to the public?). Anyway I managed to finish the moleskine page I started yesterday. You got to say yes to another moose. See if I can't conjure up a Coco and Coca story soon, keep dry
thanks Bjorn this I made with a Namiki Falcon (new pen) otherwise I use a Mont blanc fountain pen. I used a Artpen earlier in my drawing life, it was OK, but a little hard
Ah, talk of art material is always of interest! I'm forever in search of the perfect pen and something with a bit of flex would be ideal, I'll have to give these Falcon's a look. How did you get yours?
At the moment I'm using a portable Pilot Birdie (extra fine) and 0.3 rotring tech pen for thicker lines, I'd use my favourite brush pen more but any transport movement and you're asking for trouble, pens are where it's at.
I like to talk about art materials... I remember one day I was really angry with my new pen, so I broke it against the paper...AArrggghhh...!!!Haha Love this moose drawing, it's very touching... YEAH!!!More Coco and Coca!!!
i can tell ur drawing with another pen , cuz of the thinness of the line but its all good i like it( the change of pen has anything to do with the lump?)
i liked the image a lot, and u can never have too many mooses
What kind of pen do you use now Mattias? I ordered a Rotring Artpen Sketch yesterday... maybe this is the perfect pen for me.
ReplyDeleteOne moose, second moose - are those meese?
ReplyDeleteYou are sooo right. When a moose comes knocking, you really can't refuse it. FANTASTIC!
We'll all happily say yes to as many mooses as you chooses...
ReplyDeleteAlthough I love the Coco stories, too. :-)
Poooor moose ... nevertheless it's a lovely drawing, even your pen isn't working too well. More Coco and Coca YAY!!
ReplyDeletethanks

ReplyDeleteAs animated as you could get being striped down ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's a self portrait bye the way, I feel like a big moose being striped down.
Thanks for all comments
Ah, I hope you 'buck up' soon Mattias! The fatigue doesn't show in your drawings, I amazed at how you come up with so many new ideas!
ReplyDeletehi, do you do pencils before pen? if not...HOW it is possible???
ReplyDeleteno pencil, you just have to dive in directly, but it's the end result that's important, I don't condemn pencil
