Variation on a theme

Still using a borrowed pen, can't beat a good tree when you're out of new ideas

Nuts

Based on my experience with my dog while walking in the forest.

You better clean up your act

A cleaned up version of the last moleskine spread. Inspired by the Chinese Blue and white wares, I always buy one cake of cobalt blue when I buy material. I currently sport three cakes of cobalt blue in my watercolor box.

Variation on a theme

A short break in all the geeky dragons with an reoccurring theme: birds in a tree. Nice to have something to do when watching the tube.

Wood on wood

Made for Art block for Ghana a charity art auction to help build a Children's Home in Ghana. The motive is a theme I tend to return to but this time it's on a piece of wood, very appropriate. Will return on when the auction takes place

My new home?

I'm trying to make a new home site (trying not to put to much time doing it). I'll see if I can muster enough energy to finish it before the summer.

Segregation

I can't have a sketchbook without at least one tree started this while on the commuter train but finished it on terra firma.

Don't expect any great music from us

I Made this spread while on the plane the UK. I visited Stratford upon Avon, I didn't have much time sightseeing as it was a business trip (a very exciting project), but I managed to take an early stroll along the Avon and see parts of the city center. The weather didn't permit any outdoor sketching though but the town sure deserves it, with or without Shakespeare.

William Morris I salute you

I get quite a lot of comments on wallpapers when I do this kind of things, I'd love to be able to do wallpapers or textiles someday . I always think of William Morris while doing trees even though his bird tended to be less evil.

Thorn Birds

This is a returning theme in my sketchbooks, birds in trees that is. I always find myself thinking why did I begin with this, I just love birds maybe. last of the pens tomorrow
