Bachs not dead

I got a comment from Brazil informing about the likeness of a t-shirt suggestion and one of my illustrations, is it just coincidence, plagiarism or friendly influence? This is the planned T-shirt and this is my illustration I suppose I wasn't the first man to use animals in this despicable manner, in art or otherwise

  1. Hej,

    Du skrev på min bloggsida.

Tack själv, det var ett bra möte på Svenska Tecknare.

  3. I love the Bachs.

I have no desire to rip you off, but I do envy the flow of your ideas and funnyness. I'm sitting here all graphically constipated with too many ideas trying to get through a narrow tube.

i think it may be a parody of salvador dali - i may be wrong, though. it does resemble your illustration more.

  6. Awww, that sucks. I love your work and hope that folks are only inspired by it, not to rip it off completely.

  7. Great work as usual, Mattias.

I'm thinking it's just a case of friendly influence.

  9. Thanks all, I'll leave it at friendly influence as well, who can tell where we get inspiration

  10. Since there is Dali putting temples on the back of elephants in the Temptation of Saint Anthony, it could be a coincidence.
Otherwise, imitation is a a sort of compliment...
