I added a dog, it kind of resembles our dog Asta
Not much progress today it's Saturday
Well it's not that easy being truly original, this is a work in progress.
Man, I am looking your blog and love you style. You have the best of early Crumb, and Paul Cooker Jr., but you have definitelly your own style. That step by step work make me think: But, this man draw almost whitout pencilig!
Mechanical ostrich? I know it's not really but the curls at the back look a bit like feathers, and the back hand could almost be a long curling neck (with a tiny bird head).
Love the proud mouse on the *** Whem i dive into your big pieces, I'm rewarded with a true feeling of "exploration" and real "surprises"...I'm loving that, and the fun spirit behind it all. Is the children book fully based on "your" universe or are you working with someone else ? cheers.

ReplyDeleteFootloose and Fancy Free
ReplyDeleteYou inspired me to make a mechanical lobster for my drawing of the day. Not that mechanizing a lobster is much of a stretch.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love this. It's so complex, and there's lots to look at. You made it sound like this was hard; it was definitely worth the effort.
ReplyDeleteWow, it's gigantic and so complicated. I hope you're going splash some watercolour on it.
