One of those awful in progress things again, this blog is starting to be awfully Deja vue .

A rural story

This is part of a short comic I made, more on it when it's published (in Swedish). And there's Monkeys in it! The changing faces of Mattias Avatars for msn, I used to use them at work. Painted in photoshop with my mouse. From the beginning their cloth correlated with my own.

Lessons learned

Never let seabirds form a jury Keep your dragons separated, they are keen on mating

More Piggles

Remember the Piggles? First told of here and continued here? My wife has made an interpretation in three dimensions check it out.

Coco enters the jungle

Coco enters the jungle of online dating in this exciting chapter of the Coco Saga, his work is still hampered by thoughts of sweet Coca His work still disturbes me, it's totaly un-postable In order to break his slump i let him use my computer to enter the jungle of on line dating, his thoughts are long away, but alas he finds a date Dressed in his Sunday best he awaits his date with a sinking feeling The date arrives, she fails to remove Coca from Cocas mind this goes for rest of the evening as well. O Coca where are you.. When they leave the restaurant, Coco's heart makes a leap, it's Coca ... To be continued....

Space kind of crowded theese days

200 posts and encounting

Yes reached two hundred posts today, was pick of the week at Illustration Friday, life's a rush. For the faint of faith a proof that I'm a bonafida Pigfarmer, from the newspaper "arbetet" circa 1997, Svinfarmare is pig farmer in Swedish A newly inked page from the sketchbook Coco is still depressed, his art really starts to depress me big time. Happy surfing and have a great weekend!

COCO in Love

Cocos work had taken a bad turn, he'd stopped out his typical magic stuff. Everything was dark and gloomy not with the Adolfsson esprit. I pressed him a little and the truth started to sip out. Strolling in the Park he suddenly saw the most beautiful thing he ever saw. Coco lost his heart. Her name was Coca, she was a show girl with yellow feather in her hair... They talked for hours... Until Coca's boyfriend came. Coco's heart broke in two... Coco will never sing again he says, and his art will forever be dark To be continued.....

Might

Even the mighty look small upon a tall mountain, for Illustration Friday

Train in vain

Did this while returning from Boksåpet, I managed to sound incoherent as usual while speaking about my pictures but it was very nice, thanks Mia and Frida. Camilla came as well we had a nice chat. Made my future illustration available as print through this site, if anyone is interested.

Pigs at 1900

Tomorrow there's a small happening at Bokskåpet (where I had my last show). I and some other illustrators will speak about our illustrations and show some of our works... . As the theme is Christmas orientated I made two small drawings. Home for Christmas And Christmas piggy's The Adress is: Boksåpet Barn & Ungdomsbokhandel Värmlandsgatan 20 Göteborg and it starts 19.00 Help I can't stop listening to the song Confetti by the Lemonheads

Just starting up

Made this one when I re-started my drawing last autumn, never finished it as I got a job about the same time. This time I didn't stop drawing though and hopefully I never will stop again.

Off to space

Hopefully the first Swedish Astronaut will have a less bumpy ride

Reproducing sketchbooks

Trying to find ways of reproducing my sketchbooks, as digital prints and books, this I soon find takes a lot of work, only to edit out the center folds, choosing to go black and white or keeping the yellow hue (perhaps tp print on yellowish paper instead). Must also decide if/what kind of printer to choose, there is quite a lot of good ink jet printers nowadays. Any suggestions on printers would be much appreciated. And I do take requests if someone has a favorite page from any moleskine, I'll try to be quite moderate when I come to pricing.
