This is commission works I did this summer while on vacation, sorry about the scan quality they are photographed as I sold them on place. From Stora Korno, my fathers birthplace, now an idyll but a hundred years ago the living was hard on the island
Drawing directly in ink like that is very admirable. I'd imagine it speeds up the process. No wonder you....the monkeys (sorry 'bout that hehe) can produce so many drawings so quickly.
These are wonderful! I love pen & ink drawings. You do such nice work. I check here often to see what you've done next. : )
ReplyDeleteThese architectural illos really show off your skills. I was just wondering if you sketch in pencil first or just dive straight in kamikaze style?
ReplyDeleteNo, when I do this commision things I do little kamikaze, A thin pencil sketch to draw out the proportions
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Mattias. Clean, crisp, well thought out, good composition and well drawn. Keep up the good work.
